Performances

Vendeur De Cola (VDC) has performed across West Africa, bringing his unique blend of slam poetry, spoken word, and poetic storytelling to diverse audiences. His performances are known for emotional depth, rhythmic intensity, and strong connection with the public.

He has appeared on stages in Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and other cultural spaces, sharing work that bridges memory, identity, and collective experience.

Artistic Projects

VDC is currently developing new artistic works, including an upcoming EP and spoken word album rooted in poetic narration, rhythm, and contemporary African storytelling.

His creative process explores the intersections between poetry, sound, and performance, building bridges between traditional oral expression and modern artistic forms.

Residencies

VDC has engaged with several artistic and cultural institutions through residencies, collaborations, and training programs. His journey includes:

• Slam Master Class FILO 2017 (Ouagadougou) — Laureate and performer
• Poètes À l’Honneur (Éditions MAP, Paris, 2018) — Selected poet in an international francophone anthology
• FUSA – Fonds Maaya, Mali — Selected artist for the Emergency Support Fund for Artists
• Ongoing applications and collaborations with artistic residencies in Senegal, Rwanda, Kenya, and beyond, including Black Rock Senegal, Villa Saint-Louis Ndar, and Atelier Nomade.

Collaborations
